As part of their first-year curriculum, the Batch of 2024–28 BPT students from Barrackpore College of Education attended a special anatomy class at Rajib Gandhi Memorial Ayurvedic College & Hospital. This academic visit was arranged to provide students with practical exposure to anatomy beyond the classroom environment.
Under the guidance of senior professors, students were introduced to clinical teaching methods followed in medical colleges. The class helped them understand anatomical concepts in greater depth and reinforced how these principles apply directly to physiotherapy education.
Attending classes in a hospital environment gave students a first-hand experience of medical learning culture, bridging the gap between theory and practical understanding. They were also encouraged to ask questions and interact with faculty, making the session interactive and enriching.
Such hospital-based classes reflect BCE’s strong focus on hands-on education and clinical readiness. By learning in diverse medical settings from the very first year, students gain confidence and adaptability that prepare them for future training in hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
