On 8th February 2025, Barrackpore College of Education organized a special Anatomy Orientation Session for first-year BPT students (Batch 2024–28).
The session was led by Prof. Dr. S. Saha (Murshidabad Medical College) and Prof. Dr. Satarupa Das, MD (Former Faculty, SSKM Medical College, Kolkata & Barasat Medical College). Both eminent professors shared their insights on the fundamentals of human anatomy and its importance in building a strong base for future physiotherapists.
The event was chaired by our Director, who emphasized BCE’s commitment to connecting students with distinguished medical professionals early in their academic journey. Students gained valuable exposure, inspiration, and motivation to pursue excellence in the study of anatomy.
The session also allowed students to directly interact with the professors, ask subject-related questions, and understand how anatomy forms the foundation of clinical practice in physiotherapy. Such early exposure to eminent academicians not only enriches classroom learning but also motivates students to think critically about their future careers in healthcare. Events like these reflect BCE’s vision of blending academic rigor with practical insights from leading experts.
